The Eric Andre Show
''The Eric Andre Show'' is an American sketch comedy television series created and hosted by comedian Eric André. A parody of late night talk shows, it premiered on Cartoon Network's night-time programming block Adult Swim on May 20, 2012. The series was co-hosted by fellow comedian Hannibal Buress for the first 42 episodes, then by Blannibal (played by James Hazley) for five episodes after Buress' departure. All episodes of the show have been directed by Kitao Sakurai and Andrew Barchilon. Gary Anthony Williams served as the announcer in the first season, being replaced by Tom Kane in the second season and Robert Smith from seasons 3 to 6. A total of 60 episodes have aired over the course of six seasons. On December 31, 2012, ''The Eric Andre Show'' aired a 45-minute live New Year's special, titled ''The Eric Andre New Year's Eve Spooktacular''. ''Space Ghost Coast to Coast'' is an American live-action/ adult animated hybrid television series created by Mike Lazzo for Cartoon Network and first broadcast in 1994. It takes the form of a surreal parody of talk shows, hosted by a reimagined version of the Hanna-Barbera character Space Ghost. It incorporates surrealism and non-sequitur humor. ''Space Ghost Coast to Coast'' is the first TV show produced by Williams Street (formerly known as Ghost Planet Industries), which started Adult Swim in the early 2000s. It contrasts the original 1960s series, '' Space Ghost'', which aired as a standard Hanna-Barbera Saturday-morning superhero cartoon. ''After Dark'' was a British late-night live television discussion programme that was broadcast weekly on Channel 4 between 1987 and 1991, and which returned for specials between 1993 and 1997. Prime Time
Prime time, or peak time, is the block of broadcast programming taking place during the middle of the evening for television shows. It is mostly targeted towards adults (and sometimes families). It is used by the major television networks to broadcast their season's nightly programming. Monologue
In theatre, a monologue (also known as monolog in North American English) (in , from μόνος ''mónos'', "alone, solitary" and λόγος ''lógos'', "speech") is a speech presented by a single character, most often to express their thoughts aloud, though sometimes also to directly address another character or the audience. Monologues are common across the range of dramatic media (plays, films, etc.), as well as in non-dramatic media such as poetry. Parody
A parody is a creative work designed to imitate, comment on, and/or mock its subject by means of satire, satirical or irony, ironic imitation.
