SbX
sbX is a bus rapid transit (BRT) service in San Bernardino and Loma Linda, California, United States. It is operated by Omnitrans, a public transportation agency in southwestern San Bernardino County. The route is internally named by Omnitrans as the Green Line. sbX is intended to be a brand of bus rapid transit service that will eventually traverse major surface streets throughout Omnitrans' service area. The Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP), under its BRT Standard, has given the sbX corridor a Bronze ranking. Development Construction was set to finish in late 2013, but was pushed back due to ongoing construction at San Bernardino's downtown transit center. Service began in April 2014. San Bernardino Transit Center
The San Bernardino Transit Center (Metrolink designation San Bernardino–Downtown) is an intermodal transit center in downtown San Bernardino, California, United States. It is owned and operated by Omnitrans, the area's public transportation agency. Opened in September 2015, the center consolidates two Metrolink commuter rail routes, the Arrow rail route, and more than a dozen local bus services, including the sbX bus rapid transit line into one central location. Omnitrans
Omnitrans, stylized as "OmniTrans," is a public transportation agency in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The largest transit operator within San Bernardino County, it serves the San Bernardino Valley. The agency was established in 1976 through a joint powers agreement and today includes 15 cities and portions of the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County. In addition to the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County, Omnitrans provides service to parts of Riverside and Los Angeles Counties. Downtown San Bernardino is a district in the city of San Bernardino, California, in San Bernardino County, United States. It is home to city and county government buildings, and to the city's central business district. BRT Standard
The BRT Standard is an evaluation tool for bus rapid transit (BRT) corridors around the world, based on international best practices. The Standard establishes a common definition for BRT and identifies BRT best practices, as well as functioning as a scoring system to allow BRT corridors to be evaluated and recognized for their superior design and management aspects. The Standard was conceived by the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) in 2012 to ensure that BRT corridors worldwide meet a minimum quality standard and deliver consistent passenger, economic, and environmental benefits. San Bernardino High School (SBHS) is an American public high school and city located at 1850 North E Street within San Bernardino, California and a member of the San Bernardino City Unified School District. SBHS was granted charter as a city in 1963, under the name Cardinal City after the school's mascot, the Cardinal. SBHS is the oldest high school in the City of San Bernardino. Foothill Boulevard (Southern California)
Foothill Boulevard is a major road in the city and county of Los Angeles, as well as an arterial road in the city and county of San Bernardino, stretching well over in length, with some notable breaks along the route. The San Bernardino County Court House, is a Classical Revival building located at 351 N. Arrowhead Ave. in San Bernardino, is the county courthouse for San Bernardino County, California. The courthouse was built in 1927 and has served as the center of county government since then. A 1937 welfare building, a 1940 county library, and a 1940 heating plant are also located on the courthouse grounds, which are extensively landscaped and include a fountain, sundial, plaque, and the remains of the former county courthouse.
