''Psycho'' is a 1960 American psychological horror thriller film produced and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The screenplay, written by Joseph Stefano, was based on the 1959 novel of the same name by Robert Bloch. The film stars Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Vera Miles, John Gavin and Martin Balsam. The plot centers on an encounter between on-the-run embezzler Marion Crane (Leigh) and shy motel proprietor Norman Bates (Perkins) and its aftermath, in which a private investigator (Balsam), Marion's lover Sam Loomis (Gavin), and her sister Lila (Miles) investigate her disappearance. Macario Gómez Quibus
Macario Gómez Quibus, known by the professional nickname of Mac, (8 March 1926 – 20 July 2018) was a Spanish film poster artist and designer known for his work for some of Hollywood's best known films of the 20th Century. Some of his most prominent work includes the film posters for ''Doctor Zhivago'' (1965), ''For a Few Dollars More'' (1965), ''The Ten Commandments'' (1956), ''Some Like It Hot'' (1959), '' Psycho'' (1960), '' La gran familia'' (1962), and '' Dr. No'' (1962). Norman Bates
Norman Bates is a fictional character created by American author Robert Bloch as the main antagonist in his 1959 thriller novel '' Psycho''. He has an alter, Mother, who takes from the form of his abusive mother, and later victim, Norma, who in his daily life runs the Bates Motel.
