Murder Of Kanhaiya Lal
Kanhaiya Lal Teli was a Hindu tailor who was murdered by two Islam in India, Muslim terrorists on 28 June 2022 in Udaipur, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The assailants captured the attack on camera and circulated the video online. Lal was killed for allegedly sharing a social media post in support of Indian politician and Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Nupur Sharma (politician), Nupur Sharma, whose comments led to the 2022 Muhammad remarks controversy. The assailants entered Lal's store posing as customers before killing him. Videos of the murder were posted on the internet, with two alleged assailants holding butcher knives and claiming responsibility for the murder, identifying themselves as Muhammad Riyaz Attari and Muhammad Ghaus. 2022 Muhammad Remarks Controversy
The 2022 Muhammad remarks row began on 27 May 2022, when Nupur Sharma, a spokeswoman of India's ruling party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), insinuated that the Islamic Prophet Muhammad was a pedophile, on a Times Now debate on the Gyanvapi Mosque dispute, against the counterparty who allegedly poked fun at the disputed Shivalinga, referring to it as a Fountain. In response to the remarks, (perceived to be derogatory to Hindu god Shiva), Nupur insinuated that Prophet Muhammad was a pedophile, in reference to Muhammad and his third wife, Aisha, who, some islamic sources purport, to be six years of age at the time of their marriage and the consummation of said marriage. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is the primary counter-terrorist task force of India.
