Liga III
The Liga 3, most often spelled as Liga III, is the third level of the Romanian football league system. Its name was changed from Divizia C to Liga III before the start of the 2006–07 season. Relegation The bottom four teams from each division are relegated at the end of the season to the Liga IV. From the 12th placed teams, the team with the least points is relegated. To determine these teams, separate standings are computed, using only the games played against clubs ranked 1st through 11th. The Romanian football league system, also known as the football pyramid, refers to the system in Romanian club football that consists of several football leagues bound together hierarchically by promotion and relegation. The first three leagues are organized at a national level and consist of fully professional teams. Lower divisions are organized at county levels, with each county's football association controlling its respective leagues. Reserve teams play in the same league system as their parent clubs. Fotbal Club Progresul Caracal was a Romanian professional football club from Caracal, Olt County, Romania. History Răsăritul Caracal was founded in 1924. Among the founding members of this sports association were: Mircea Botoi, Gheorghe Dumitrescu, Tudor Voiculescu, Ștefan Săndulescu, supported by a few people with financial possibilities, including: Stavarache Borcescu, Ionică Brătașanu or Tudor Popescu. The first major competition at which Răsăritul Caracal started was the 1926–1927 season of the Oltenia Regional Championship, together with Rovine Grivița, Craiu-Iovan, Tinerimea, Generală, all from Craiova and Oltul Slatina and where it has been a constant presence for two decades. Asociația Sportivă Sportul 30 Decembrie, commonly known as Sportul 30 Decembrie, was a Romanian football club based in 30 Decembrie commune (now 1 Decembrie), Ilfov County. The club was financially supported by the farm from the 30 Decembrie commune, being the first team from Ilfov County to play in the second football division in România. History The club was founded in 1950 as ''Argeșul 30 Decembrie'' and played for almost thirty years in the regional and county championships. At the end of the 1982–83 season, Argeșul won the Giurgiu County Championship and promoted to Divizia C. After finishing eleventh in the first season in Divizia C, 1983–84, the club enter in partnership with Sportul Studențesc, subsequently changing its name to Sportul 30 Decembrie. Asociația Sportivă Viitorul Vaslui, commonly known as Viitorul Vaslui, was a Romanian football club based in Vaslui, Vaslui County founded in 1976 and dissolved in 1990. Their main rival it was Mecanica Vaslui, a club who which was founded as Viitorul but who dropped this name in 1983. History The club was founded in 1976, in the commune of Moara Grecilor, near to Vaslui, under the name of Inter Moara Grecilor and played at the county level until 1983. Renamed as Inter Vaslui, the club promoted to Divizia C winning Vaslui County Championship at the end of the 1982–83 season. The team included players such as Ion Anton, Costel Măgureanu, Neculai Genovel, Sorin Manea, Dan Băbăscu, Constantin Gavriluță among others. Inter finished in an honorable eighth place in the first season in third division, followed by fifth place in the 1984–85 season.
