Junior-featherweight
Super bantamweight, also known as junior featherweight, is a weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . There were attempts by boxing promoters in the 1920s to establish this weight class, but few sanctioning organizations or state athletic commissions would recognize it. Jack Wolf won recognition as champion when he beat Joe Lynch at Madison Square Garden on September 21, 1922, but afterwards the weight division fell into disuse. The division was revived in the 1970s and the first title fight in 54 years in the division took place in 1976 when the World Boxing Council recognized Rigoberto Riasco as its champion when he defeated Waruinge Nakayama in eight rounds. The World Boxing Association crowned its first champion in 1977 when Soo Hwan Hong knocked out Hector Carasquilla in three rounds to win the inaugural WBA championship. Isaac Dogboe
Isaac Zion Dogboe ( ; born 26 September 1994) is a Ghanaian-British professional boxer who held the WBO junior-featherweight title in 2018. Background Dogboe was born in Accra, Ghana, but moved to London, England. Amateur career Dogboe won the 2013 Amateur Boxing Association British lightweight title, when boxing out of the Territorial Army London BC. He qualified for the 2012 Olympics by winning a silver medal at the African Olympic Qualifying Event, beating Mohamed Bedir (EGY), Emilian Polino (TAN), Ayabonga Sonjica (RSA) and only losing on countback after a 6:6 draw in the final to Aboubakr Lbida (MAR). Stephen Fulton Jr. (born July 17, 1994) is an American professional boxer. He is the unified super bantamweight world champion, having held the WBO title since January 2021 and the WBC title since November 2021. He previously held the IBO super bantamweight title in 2019. Guillermo Rigondeaux Ortiz (; born 30 September 1980) is a Cuban professional boxer. He is a former world champion in two weight classes, having held the unified WBA (Super), WBO and '' Ring'' magazine super bantamweight titles between 2013 and 2017, and the WBA (Regular) bantamweight title from 2020 to 2021. Scott Quigg (born 9 October 1988) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2007 to 2020. He held the WBA super-bantamweight title from 2013 to 2016, and the British super-bantamweight title from 2011 to 2012. In boxing, a weight class is a measurement weight range for boxers. The lower limit of a weight class is equal to the upper weight limit of the class below it. is a Japanese former professional boxer who competed from 1994 to 2012. He held the WBC super-bantamweight title from 2008 to 2012, and challenged for the WBO and ''The Ring super-bantamweight titles in his final-fight.
