Future Rave
Future Rave (also known as FUTURE RAVE or FR) is a genre of EDM coined by deejay/producers David Guetta and Morten Breum. The sound is a dark yet electrifying blend of techno and progressive house. In 2022, the pair have gone on a tour under the name Future Rave. The style has been popularized by other EDM artists such as Hardwell. History In 2019, French producer David Guetta and Danish producer Morten Breum paired together to produce some tracks. They produced several tracks together and later they would call this style Future Rave. The first two tracks produced in this style by the pair were " Never Be Alone" with Aloe Blacc and an official remix of Avicii's " Heaven." In 2022, the pair went on a US Tour under the title ''Future Rave,'' including an appearance at EDC and started a residency at Hï Ibiza under the same title. Big Room House
Big room house or simply big room is a fusion subgenre of house music (notably progressive house and electro house) that gained popularity in the early 2010s. Characterized by its simple instrumentation yet complex structure, big room house soon evolutionized the EDM scene into multiple subgenres that we know today. Although the term "big room" started appearing in news articles circa 2007, the current state of this subgenre emerged around 2010—12 and was popularized by songs such as " Epic" and "Cannonball". From 2013 on, artists like Martin Garrix, KSHMR, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Afrojack, and R3HAB began experimenting with this sound in their compositions. Tim Bergling (; 8 September 1989 – 20 April 2018), known professionally as Avicii (, ), was a Swedish DJ, remixer and music producer. At the age of 16, Bergling began posting his remixes on electronic music forums, which led to his first record deal. He rose to prominence in 2011 with his single " Levels". His debut studio album, '' True'' (2013), blended electronic music with elements of multiple genres and received generally positive reviews. Alexander Shapovalov (russian: Александр Шаповалов, link=no, Latn, ru, Aleksandr Shapovalov; born 28 January 1989, in Smolensk), better known by his stage name Shapov, is a Russian record producer and DJ. Ultra Music Festival (UMF) is an annual outdoor electronic music festival that takes place during March in Miami, Florida, United States. The festival was founded in 1999 by Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes. It was first held on Miami Beach, but besides a tenure at Bicentennial Park, and briefly being held at Virginia Key in 2019, it has primarily been held at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. It was a two-day festival from 1998 to 2006. Since 2011, Ultra has taken place across three days (Friday through Sunday) during the month of March. In 2012, it had a record attendance, of 155,000 people. Space (, , ) was a superclub on the island of Ibiza, Spain from 1986 to 2016, owned by STANCA. It was awarded "Best Global Club" at the International Dance Music Awards in 2005, 2006, 2012, 2013, and 2014. Space was located in Platja d'en Bossa on the outskirts of Ibiza Town, close to the airport. In 2017 the venue reopened under the name Hï Ibiza. History Space first opened in early summer of 1986. Electric Daisy Carnival, commonly known as EDC, is an electronic dance music festival organized by promoter and distributor Insomniac. The annual flagship event, EDC Las Vegas, is held in May at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and is currently the largest electronic dance music festival in North America. The event features electronic dance producers and DJs, and incorporates a variety of electronic music, including house, techno, drum and bass, and dubstep.
