An internal condom (also known as a femidom or female condom) is a barrier device that is used during sexual intercourse as a barrier contraceptive to reduce the probability of pregnancy or a sexually transmitted infection (STI). A developing country is a sovereign state with a lesser developed industrial base and a lower Human Development Index (HDI) relative to other countries.
