Downtown Tijuana, officially ''Colonia Zona Centro'', is an official neighborhood of Tijuana, Mexico. It is located within the Centro (Borough), Central Borough ("Delegación Centro") of the city, immediately southwest of the San Ysidro Port of Entry. It is bordered by Calle Artículo 123 and the Zona Norte (Tijuana), Zona Norte neighborhood (and red light district) on the north, by Calle Ocampo and Zona Este and Zona Río on the east, and by the ''colonias'' (neighborhoods) Castillo, Lindavista, Altamira, Independencia, Morelos, and Juárez on the west and south. __NOTOC__ The San Ysidro Port of Entry (aka San Ysidro Land Port of Entry or San Ysidro LPOE) is the largest land border crossing between San Diego and Tijuana, and the fourth- busiest land border crossing in the world (second-busiest if one excludes the crossings between Mainland China and its two Special Administrative Regions) with 70,000 northbound vehicles and 20,000 northbound pedestrians crossing each day, in addition to southbound traffic. Zona Norte (Tijuana)
Zona Norte (officially ''Colonia Zona Norte'', "North Zone (neighborhood)") is an official neighborhood, as well as a red light district located in Tijuana, Mexico. It is among the largest red-light districts in North America known for its brothels, which present themselves in public as strip clubs and bars, similar to gentlemen's clubs in the United States. Many bars and strip clubs in Tijuana's red light district in which women are the feature entertainment also operate as brothels, which offer attached hotel rooms for short intervals of time. Zona Río
Zona Río (English: "River Zone") is an official zone, and the main modern business district, of the city of Tijuana, Mexico. Zona Río is located at a strategic point, in the north of the city, about from the U.S.-Mexico border and from Downtown San Diego.
