Its appearance at the time was described as "dignified". Debonairs Pizza is a South African based pizza restaurant chain franchise founded in 1991 by Craig MacKenzie and Andrew Harvey. MacKenzie came up with the idea and business model to found the company following a gap-year trip to Los Angeles when he was a student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. The first restaurants were established in Pietermaritzburg, followed by Umhlanga and then Durban. The chain expanded rapidly and was acquired by Famous Brands in 1999. The company has over 500 restaurants in 14 countries mostly located in Africa including Botswana, Dubai, Eswatini, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Ethiopia, Sudan, Zambia and Angola. Debonair (1996–99) was a British airline which operated mainly from London Luton Airport offering flights to and from Spain, France, Germany and Italy. It ceased operations in October 1999 due to financial difficulties. History Debonair was founded in 1996 by Franco Mancassola and on its first day of operations offered all passengers free flights. Initial destinations from Luton were Newcastle upon Tyne, Copenhagen, Mönchengladbach, Munich, Barcelona and Nice. The latter two destinations were in direct competition with EasyJet. The Newcastle and Copenhagen flights were dropped, with new destinations of Rome, Paris Pontoise, Madrid and Perugia added. The Flairs
The Flairs (or Flares) were an American doo-wop group known for their 1961 hit "Foot Stompin', Pt. 1." Based in Los Angeles, they went through several lineup changes during their existence. Their notable members included Richard Berry (writer of 'Louie Louie') and Cornell Gunter, who would go on to be a member of the Coasters. The group debuted on Flair Records which it was named after in 1953. In 1956, a new Flairs group was formed and they joined ABC Records. After they went to Loma Records and became known as the Ermines. After another lineup change they became known as the Flares. Eike Moriz (born May 14, 1972), better known as Ike Moriz, is a German-South African singer, songwriter, musician, record producer and actor. He has released 20 albums in the indie rock, pop, Latin, easy listening, dance, lounge, blues, jazz and swing genres. Early life Ike Moriz grew up in Wentorf near Hamburg, Germany. The son of the jewellers Kai and Waltraud Moriz attended the Wentorf primary school from 1978 and thereafter from 1982 the Wentorf grammar school, where he was also head boy from 1988 to 1989. The album was released in 1999 on Epic Records and has sold over 236,000 copies in the United States, making it their best-selling album to date. "Pig Society", "Everything Sucks", "Sick", and "Debonaire" were also released as singles, but did not chart. Thangam Elizabeth Rachel Debbonaire (' Singh; born 3 August 1966) is a British Labour Party politician, serving as Shadow Leader of the House of Commons since May 2021. She was previously the Shadow Secretary of State for Housing from 2020 to 2021. She was elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Bristol West at the 2015 general election, when she defeated the incumbent Liberal Democrat MP Stephen Williams. Shortly after being elected, Debbonaire was diagnosed with breast cancer, and did not attend a parliamentary vote from June 2015 until March 2016.
