Andrii Leonidovych Derkach (; born 19 August 1967), also known as Andrei Leonidovich Derkach (Russian: Андрей Леонидович Деркач) is a Russian and former Ukrainian politician and businessman who had been a member of the Verkhovna Rada from 1998 to January 2020, serving seven terms, with several parties, and was stripped of Ukrainian citizenship. In August 2020, U.S. counterintelligence chief William Evanina identified Derkach as a key participant in Russian efforts to harm Joe Biden's candidacy in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. Leonid Vasyliovych Derkach (; 19 July 1939 – 14 January 2022) was a Soviet and Ukrainian politician, intelligence officer, and general who was Head of the Security Service of Ukraine from 22 April 1998 to 10 February 2001. Len Derkach
Leonard "Len" Derkach (born January 21, 1945) is a former politician in Manitoba, Canada. He was a cabinet minister in the government of Gary Filmon, and was a member of the Manitoba legislature from 1986 to 2011. The son of Nicholas Derkach and Minnie Kalyniak, he was born in Rossburn, Manitoba, Rossburn, Manitoba, and was educated at Brandon University. Yana Volodymyrivna Derkach (, born 10 July 1998) is a Ukrainian women's football midfielder who plays for Ankara BB Fomget in the Turkish Super League, and for the Ukraine women's national team. Club career Derkach played for the Oleshky-based club Voskhod Stara Maiachka in the 2019–20 Vyshcha Liha season of Ukrainian Women's League. She capped in 16 matches and scored one goal. Borys Derkach
Borys Yuriyovych Derkach (; 14 January 1964 – May 2019) was a Soviet and Ukrainian professional football player. From 1992 to 2005 he was in a Hungarian jail, with an original sentence of 11 years for an assault on a Hungarian pimp and two Ukrainian prostitutes. Later the sentence was increased for an escape attempt. Ratchet (instrument)
A ratchet or rattle, more specifically, cog rattle is a musical instrument of the percussion family and a warning/signaling device. It operates on the principle of the ratchet device, using a gearwheel and a stiff board mounted on a handle, which rotates freely. Variants include the gragger () used in Judaism, the crotalus, the rapach, and the raganella. Method of playing The player holds the handle and swings the whole mechanism around.
