Jens Christian Hauge (15 May 1915 – 30 October 2006) was a Norwegian lawyer and leader in the World War II resistance—and one of the two incumbent Milorg Council members in May 1945. Birger Martin Bergersen (25 July 1891 – 14 July 1977) was a Norwegian anatomist and politician for the Labour Party. Lars Magnus Moen (29 November 1885 – 22 April 1964) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party who served as Minister of Education and Church Affairs from 1948 to 1953. Johan Ulrik Olsen (2 August 1885 – 4 October 1963) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was born in Hitteren as a son of farmer Peder Olsen (1847–1933) og Dorothea Hesnes (1848–1931). Gustav Adolf Sjaastad (6 April 1902 – 7 May 1964) was a Norwegian lawyer and politician for the Labour Party. He served as Minister of Justice from 1954–1955 and Minister of Industry from 1955–1959, and also as County Governor of Nord-Trøndelag from 1959–1964. Early life and career He was born in Skogn Municipality as a son of farmer Olaf Herman Sjaastad (1869–1944) and Marta Fostad (1870–1933). He enrolled as a student in 1922, and graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1926. He opened an attorney's office in Namsos in 1927. From 1933 he was a barrister, with access to work with Supreme Court cases. He was a member of the executive committee of the municipal council of Namsos Municipality from 1927 to 1934, representing the Liberal Party, whose local party chapter he chaired from 1927 to 1931. Oscar Christian Gundersen
Oscar Christian Gundersen (17 March 1908 – 21 February 1991) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. During his student days he was a member of Mot Dag. Gundersen graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1931. During Gerhardsen's Second Cabinet he was appointed Minister of Justice and the Police, a post he held a year into the new Torp's Cabinet. He left in 1952 and became a Supreme Court Justice the next year. In 1958 he left that position to become Norwegian ambassador to the Soviet Union, a post he held until 1961. He was then appointed Minister of Trade and Shipping from 1962 to 1963 during the third cabinet Gerhardsen. In August 1963 the cabinet Lyng assumed office, but a fourth cabinet Gerhardsen returned to power a month later.
