Bubble (physics)
A bubble is a :wikt:globule, globule of one substance in another, usually gas in a liquid. Due to the Marangoni effect, bubbles may remain intact when they reach the surface of the immersive substance. Bubbles Yablonsky
Sarah Strohmeyer (born December 17, 1962) is an American author of eighteen crime novels and humorous books about relations between men and women. She is best known for her Bubbles Yablonsky series about a Pennsylvania hairdresser who is drawn into solving various crimes and murders. Early life and education Strohmeyer grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She attended Tufts University, where she graduated with a degree in international relations. Career After graduation, Strohmeyer began work as a journalist for ''Home News Tribune'' in New Brunswick, New Jersey, ''The Plain Dealer'' in Cleveland, and later ''Valley News''. In 1997, Strohmeyer published ''Barbie Unbound'', which she wrote in response to her seeing several mothers refuse to allow their children to play with the doll due to it being perceived as being a "bimbo". ''The Bubble'' is a British television quiz show hosted by David Mitchell, and made for the BBC by Hat Trick Productions. Each week, three comedians are tasked to differentiate real news stories from fake ones, after four days of isolation in 'The Bubble', a remote country house. A first series was broadcast on BBC Two from 19 February 2010, running for six episodes. A second series was planned but later abandoned due to Mitchell's commitments to the Channel 4 series ''10 O'Clock Live''. Concept In the show, three different contestants are placed in 'The Bubble', a place of isolation without access to the news. Contestant Frank Skinner speculated that the name of the show comes from the sterile isolation regime employed in so-called boy in the bubble medical cases. ''Bubble'' is a 2005 American drama film directed by Steven Soderbergh about three low-paid doll factory workers, one of whom is murdered. Soderbergh also shot and edited the film under the pseudonyms Peter Andrews and Mary Ann Bernard, taken from his father's given names and his mother's maiden name, respectively.
