Mohammed Alim Khan
Emir Sayyid Mir Muhammad Alim Khan ( uz, Said Mir Muhammad Olimxon, 3 January 1880 – 28 April 1944) was the last emir of the Uzbek Manghit dynasty, rulers of the Emirate of Bukhara in Central Asia. Although Bukhara was a protectorate of the Russian Empire from 1873, the Emir presided over the internal affairs of his emirate as absolute monarch and reigned from 3 January 1911 to 30 August 1920. Early life At the age of thirteen, Alim Khan was sent by his father Emir Abdulahad Khan to Saint Petersburg for three years to study government and modern military techniques. Alim Qasimov
Alim Hamza oghlu Qasimov ( az, Alim Həmzə oğlu Qasımov; born August 14, 1957) is an Azerbaijani musician and one of the foremost mugham singers in Azerbaijan. He was awarded the International Music Council-UNESCO Music Prize in 1999, one of the highest international accolades for music. His music is characterized by his vocal improvisation and represents a move away from the traditional style of mugham. Qasimov has recorded nine albums, three of which are mugham albums with his daughter, Farghana Qasimova. According to ''The New York Times'', "Qasimov is simply one of the greatest singers alive, with a searing spontaneity that conjures passion and devotion, contemplation and incantation." Alim Kaisynovich Kouliev (born June 24, 1959) is a Soviet-born American actor, theatre director, and screenwriter of Balkar origin. Kouliev was born in Nalchik — a small city in USSR. His father was the Balkar poet Kaisyn Kuliev and his mother was his Ingush wife Maka. His older brother Eldar Kuliev was a Russian film director and a screenwriter. His younger brother Azamat Kuliev is a Russian painter, living and working in Istanbul, Turkey. Alim Khan (Kokand)
Alim Khan ( uz, Olimxon; kk, Álim Narbotauly; ky, Алим хан) was the Khan of Kokand . He became Khan after the death of his father Narbuta Bey. Policies as Khan Alim continued his father's policies of expanding the Khanate, personally leading the military operation for the annexation of Ura-Trepe in 1806, but due to strong resistance the city had to be annexed again on multiple occasions. Alim also initiated an extensive campaign of military reforms, which included hiring mercenary Tajik forces. Alim took over Tashkent from Yunus Khoja, a feat his father Narbuta had attempted but failed. Alim McNeill (born May 11, 2000) is an American football defensive tackle for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at NC State, and was drafted by the Lions in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Early years McNeill attended Jesse O. Sanderson High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Abul Fayez Mohammad Abdul Alim Chowdhury (1928–1971) was an eye specialist in Bangladesh. He was abducted by the Al-Badr militia as part of a plan to kill the renowned intellectuals of the country and was found dead on December 18, 1971, at Rayer Bazaar in Dhaka. Early life and career Chowdhury was born in the village Khoyerpur in Kishoreganj in 1928. He passed metric examination from Kishoreganj High School in 1945. Syed Alimuddin Ahmad ( bn, সৈয়দ আলীমুদ্দীন আহমদ; 1884 - 1920), popularly known as Master Saheb ( bn, মাস্টার সাহেব), was a Bengali bodybuilder and wrestler. Imam Abdul Alim Musa (born 1945 as Clarence Reams) was a Muslim American activist. Musa is the founder and director of As-Sabiqun, and the Islamic Institute of Counter-Zionist American Psychological Warfare which has been identified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
