Al-Arabiya Coalition
The Al-Arabiya Coalition ( ar, إئتلاف العربية''I'tilāf alarabiya'') also known as Arabic Coalition is an Iraqi political coalition formed for the 2014 Iraqi parliamentary election by then-Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq Saleh al-Mutlaq and others parties and independent politicians. History For the 2013 governorate elections the coalition, then running under the name of Arab Iraqiyya, competed by itself in Anbar, Baghdad and Salah ad-Din. In the other governorates the coalition joined up with other parties, running as part of the Loyalty to Ninewa Bloc in Ninewa, as part of Iraqiyat Diyala in Diyala, and as part of Iraqiyat Babil in Babil. Saleh Al-Mutlaq
Saleh Muhammed al-Mutlaq ( ar, صالح محمد المطلك; born 1 July 1947) is an Iraqi politician who is the head of the Iraqi Front for National Dialogue, the fifth largest political list in Iraq's parliament. From 21 December 2010 to 11 August 2015, he was one of the three deputy prime ministers of Iraq. Early life and education Al-Mutlaq was born in Fallujah into the Jubur Tribe on 1 July 1947. He attended school in Habbaniyah, and went on to graduate from the University of Baghdad in 1968. He later completed his PhD at the University of Aberdeen, graduating in 1974. Politics Mutlaq was an active member of the Ba'ath Party, but was expelled in 1977 after criticizing the government and insisting that 5 Shiite men accused of plotting against the state should receive a fair trial. Ahmed Abdullah Abid Khalaf al-Jubouri ('Abu Mazin') ( ar, أحمد عبد الله عبد خلف الجبوري) (born ~1968) is an Iraqi politician from Salah ad-Din governorate, and a prominent figure in the Baiji area. He was the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs from 2014 to 2015 and the governor of Salah ad-Din governorate from 2013 to 2014.
