Yoko Gushiken
is a Japanese former professional boxer who competed from 1974 to 1981. He held the WBA light-flyweight title from 1976 to 1981, making a total of 13 successful defences. Following his retirement from boxing, he remains popular in Japan as a ''tarento'' having signed a contract with Ohta Production. He is well known in Japan for his comical trademark looks of perm afro hair style. Gushiken was inducted in 2015 to the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Biography Gushiken was known for having strong stamina, allowing him to pressure opponents into mistakes after many rounds. Yoko Taro
is a Japanese video game director and scenario writer. Starting his career at the now-defunct game company Cavia, his best-known work was on the action role-playing video game series '' Drakengard'', and its spin-offs, '' Nier'' and '' Nier: Automata''. Yoko was born in Nagoya, Aichi, and studied at the Kobe Design University in the 1990s. While he did not initially intend to pursue a career in video games, after working at Namco and Sony, he joined Cavia and became the director and scenario writer for the first ''Drakengard'' game. Yoko Ono
Yoko Ono ( ; ja, 小野 洋子, Ono Yōko, usually spelled in katakana ; born February 18, 1933) is a Japanese multimedia artist, singer, songwriter, and peace activist. Her work also encompasses performance art and filmmaking. Ono grew up in Tokyo and moved to New York City in 1953 with her family. She became involved with New York City's downtown artists scene in the early 1960s, which included the Fluxus group, and became well known in 1969 when she married English musician John Lennon of the Beatles. The couple used their honeymoon as a stage for public protests against the Vietnam War. ''Yoko'' is Beulah's final album, released on Velocette Records in 2003. Before its release in September, the album appeared on the internet on July 4, 2003, due to an advance copy being leaked. To counteract this, the band, along with Velocette and Insound, offered a limited edition EP burned onto CD-R, which included demos and alternate versions of songs from ''Yoko''. This EP was limited to 200 copies and was called ''Rarities, Demos & Besides''. Also released after the initial release of ''Yoko'' was a new version only sold on the ''Yoko'' tour and at independent record stores called ''Yoko Demo''.
