''Would I Lie to You?'' (informally abbreviated as ''WILTY'') is a British comedy game show aired on BBC One, made by Zeppotron for the BBC. It was first broadcast on 16 June 2007, starring David Mitchell and Lee Mack as team captains. The show was originally presented by Angus Deayton, and since 2009 has been hosted by Rob Brydon. Background The show was presented by Angus Deayton in 2007 and 2008, with Rob Brydon (who had appeared as a guest panellist in the second series) taking over as host in 2009. The team captains are comedians David Mitchell and Lee Mack. As revealed by Lee Mack on '' Alan Carr: Chatty Man'' on 19 September 2014, Alan Carr was a team captain in the pilot but subsequently turned down an offer to appear on later shows. It premiered on Network 10 on 28 February 2022. In September 2022, it was announced that the show had been renewed for a second series which would premiere in 2023, with Charlie Pickering replacing comedian Chris Taylor as a regular team captain. "Would I Lie to You?" is a song written and performed by the British pop duo Eurythmics. Released on 9 April 1985 as the lead single from the band's fourth studio album, ''Be Yourself Tonight'' (1985), the song was the first by the duo to feature their change in musical direction from a predominantly synthpop style to rock and rhythm and blues. The song, and its accompanying album, featured a full backing band and relied less on electronic programming. Lyrically, the song features Lennox confronting a cheating lover as she leaves him for good. Written by Mick Leeson and Peter Vale, and produced by Josh Deutsch, it was released in August 1992 as the debut single from the duo's first album, ''Duophonic'' (1992). It proved to be their biggest hit and a major international success. ''Come an' Get It'' is the fourth studio album by English hard rock band Whitesnake, released in 1981.
