Wonderful Life (2004 TV Series)
is a Japanese drama series aired in Japan on Fuji TV in 2004. It stars Takashi Sorimachi, Kyōko Hasegawa, Norito Yashima, and Ken Horiuchi. Kirishima, played by Takashi Sorimachi, is the most famous baseball player in Japan. He is forced to retire early due to injuries. His family abandons him and he decides to spend his time coaching at a local young boys baseball team. The team is verging disbandment because they had not won one single game. Takashi plays the popular baseball player who gives kids the hope that "dreams come true", but in reality he is arrogant and a selfish flirt who spends his money pointlessly. Mizuki, played by Kyōko Hasegawa, wants to become a lawyer. Her brother plays on Kirishima's baseball team, but she can't stand Kirishima. Takashi Sorimachi
is a Japanese actor and singer. He is mostly famous for having portrayed Eikichi Onizuka in the 1998 live-action drama adaptation of the popular manga series ''Great Teacher Onizuka'', and the assassin O in Hong Kong action film '' Fulltime Killer''. While he mainly works as an actor, he has released serval singles and albums over the years. On February 21, 2001, he married actress Nanako Matsushima who he co-starred with in ''Great Teacher Onizuka''. On May 31, 2004, his wife gave birth to a baby girl. is a Japanese theatre and film actor. He is best known for his comedic portrayals. Biography Nishimura was born on December 12, 1960 in Toyama, Toyama, Japan. While he attended Toyo University to study photography he met Kōki Mitani, a script writer for radio and playwright who aspired to be an actor and who turned his attention to the theatre. In 1983, Nishimura, Mitani and others including the actors Zen Kajiwara and Kazuyuki Aijima formed the Tokyo Sunshine Boys, a comedy troupe that grew in popularity over the following ten years.
