William C. Gathright (July 7, 1939 – June 29, 2020), known professionally as Willie Wright, was an American soul singer and songwriter, best known for his "rediscovered" 1977 album, ''Telling the Truth''. Life and career He was born in Belen, Quitman County, Mississippi, United States. In his teens he sang with friends George Bragg and Harry Jensen in a Harlem, New York City doo-wop group, The Persuaders. Later, the three formed the Willie Wright Trio. Willie Wright (born February 25, 1996) is an American football offensive tackle who is a free agent. He played college football for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Personal life and high school Willie Wright was born on February 25, 1996, and is a Houston, Texas native. Wright attended the local Cypress Ridge High School. During his high school career, he earned first-team all-district as a senior offensive tackle in 2013. College career After finishing high school, Wright then attended the University of Tulsa. Wright played college football at Tulsa from 2014 to 2018. Wright was a consistent starter at Tulsa, starting 47 out of the 48 games he played in. Biography Willie Anne Wright was born Willie Anna Boschen, in Richmond, Virginia. Her father was a musician and sometime-artist. She graduated from the College of William & Mary in 1945 with a BS in Psychology, and from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1964 with an MFA in Painting. She later studied at the Maine photographic workshops in Rockport, Maine and the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, New York. She married and had three children. Claud William Wright CB (9 January 1917, Ellenborough, Yorkshire, England – 15 February 2010, Burford, Oxfordshire, England), aka Willy Wright, was a senior British civil servant who was also an expert in the disciplines of geology, palaeontology, and archaeology. Life He was educated at Charterhouse and Christ Church, Oxford. At Oxford, he was influenced by the geologist W. J. Arkell, an interest that became a serious hobby. His professional career was in the War Office/ Ministry of Defence, where he reached the rank of Deputy Secretary. In 1971, he transferred to the Ministry of Education and there was involved with the establishment of the first Ministry of Arts. In these posts, he worked directly with Margaret Thatcher and Lord Eccles. It was in Wright's hobbies where he made his greatest mark.
