Willie Junior Smith (born November 13, 1986) is a former American football offensive tackle. He was signed by the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football for East Carolina University. He also played for the Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers and Carolina Panthers. Professional career Washington Redskins 2011 season On July 28, 2011, the Washington Redskins signed Smith as an undrafted free agent. Due to the suspension of Trent Williams, he played his first professional game in Week 14 of the 2011 season, rotating the left tackle position with Sean Locklear. During this time, teams sometimes congregate at an outside location, usually a university, to conduct training camp for at least the first few weeks. This is similar to baseball's spring training. Training camp is used in several different ways. New players and coaches use it to acclimate themselves to new teammates and systems. For younger players, it serves as a period of evaluation; for veterans, it is time to return to form. Training camp is divided into several different components. The first is scrimmages. Sean Hillary Locklear (born May 29, 1981) is a former American football offensive tackle. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft. Physically unable to perform (PUP) is a roster designation used in the National Football League (NFL) for players who suffered injuries during football-related activities prior to the start of training camp. Players on the PUP list may participate in team meetings, and use team training and medical facilities, but cannot practice with their team. There are two separate PUP lists: an active PUP list used prior to the start of the regular season, and a reserve PUP list used during the regular season. Active/PUP A player who, as a result of football-related injuries, is unable to take part in training camp practices may be assigned to the active/PUP list at the start of camp. Jammal Filbert Brown (born March 30, 1981) is a former American football offensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. He played college football for the University of Oklahoma, and received unanimous All-American recognition, and was chosen by the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft. The Washington Redskins season was the franchise's 81st season in the National Football League (NFL) and their 76th representing Washington, D.C. Their home games were played at FedExField in Landover, Maryland for the 16th consecutive season. Washington played in the Eastern division of the National Football Conference (NFC). Trent James Cole Jr. (born October 5, 1982) is a retired American football defensive end and outside linebacker. He played in the National Football League (NFL) for twelve seasons, primarily with the Philadelphia Eagles as well his final two with the Indianapolis Colts.
