Wallace is a town in Codington County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 91 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Watertown, South Dakota Micropolitan Statistical Area. History The town was named for the original owner of the town site. Wallace is the birthplace of Hubert Humphrey, the Vice President of the United States from 1965 to 1969.
