Viviana Bonilla
Viviana Patricia Bonilla Salcedo (born 3 October 1983) is an Ecuadorian lawyer and politician. She was a National Assemblywoman and First Vice President of the National Assembly of Ecuador. She was dismissed from the National Assembly in September 2020. Life Born in Guayaquil, Bonilla graduated with a law degree from the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil, and also obtained a master's degree in Public Administration. After graduating, she served as legal counsel to the Servicio de Rentas Internas, Ecuador's Internal Revenue Service, as well as the Ministry of the Coast. In 2009, Bonilla was elected to the National Assembly as a member of the PAIS Alliance out of Guayas Province, and was originally placed on the ballot by PAIS as the party wanted to increase the number of younger elected officials. Jorge David Glas Espinel (; born 13 September 1969) is an Ecuadorian politician and electrical engineer. He served as Vice President of Ecuador from 24 May 2013 to 13 December 2017. Then Ecuadorian president Lenín Moreno suspended Glas of his official duties as vice president on 3 August 2017. In December 2017, Glas was sentenced to six years imprisonment by a Criminal Tribunal of the National Court of Justice, for receiving over $13.5 million in bribes in the Odebrecht scandal. In April 2024 during a raid on the Mexican embassy by Ecuadorian police, Glas was arrested and held in prison, resulting in Mexico severing relations with Ecuador. Ana Beatriz "Betty" Tola Bermeo (born December 22, 1965) is an Ecuadorian politician and former minister. In June 2022 she was putting forward proposals for a feminist government in Ecuador.
