Vilhelm Ekelund (October 14, 1880 – September 3, 1949) was a Swedish poet. Career The works of Ekelund were influenced by Friedrich Hölderlin, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Emanuel Swedenborg. Johannes Vilhelm Jensen (20 January 1873 – 25 November 1950) was a Danish author, known as one of the great Danish writers of the first half of 20th century. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1944 "for the rare strength and fertility of his poetic imagination with which is combined an intellectual curiosity of wide scope and a bold, freshly creative style". Vilhelm Christoffer Herold (born March 19, 1865, in Hasle, Bornholm – died December 15, 1937, in Copenhagen) was an operatic tenor, voice teacher, and theatre director. Herold created the role of David in Carl Nielsen's opera '' Saul og David'' in 1902). Career Herold he made his stage debut on February 10, 1893, in the title role of Gounod's '' Faust'' at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen. However, he also sang throughout Europe, including a command performance for King Edward VII at Buckingham Palace in 1905. Arne Anders Vilhem Helander (born 8 February 1941 in Helsinki), is a Finnish architect and was Professor of Architecture History at Helsinki University of Technology, Espoo, Finland from 1986 until 2005, when he became professor emeritus. Helander qualified as an architect in 1967, and completed a further Licentiate degree in architecture in 1972.
