Vaippar River
Vaippar is a river in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It originates from the Varusanadu hills (Theni District, Theni) bordering the state of Kerala, runs from Rasingaperi Canal in Sivagiri, Tenkasi, Sivagiri (Tenkasi district, Tenkasi) and flows through Virudhunagar district, Virudhunagar and Tuticorin district, Tuticorin districts before entering the Gulf of Mannar near Sippikulam, . The Vaippar is long, with a drainage basin . The river basin is located on South of Vagai river. The Arjuna river joins with Vaippar river at Irukkangudi where famous Mariamman temple is located. Varusanadu
Varusanadu is a village panchayat (code: 232202) in Theni District of Tamil Nadu, which is located in the bank of Vaigai River. This village comes under Kadamalaigundu - Mayiladumparai Panchayat union and Andipatti Taluk. The valley around this area is called Varusanadu Valley, which is a part of Cumbum Valley in Western Ghats and is connected to Meghamalai Mountains. Sivagiri is a panchayat town and a tourist place in Tenkasi district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Tenkasi District
Tenkasi is one of the 38 districts of Tamil Nadu, India, separated from Tirunelveli district on 22 November 2019. The Government of Tamil Nadu announced its creation on 18 July 2019. The district headquarters is at Tenkasi. Virudhunagar District is a district (an administrative district) of Tamil Nadu state in south India. Virudhunagar is the district headquarters of Virudhunagar district.
