Virtual Reality Games
A virtual reality game or VR game is a video game played on virtual reality (VR) hardware. Most VR games are based on player Immersion (virtual reality), immersion, typically through a virtual reality headset, head-mounted display unit or headset with stereoscopic displays and one or more Game controller, controllers. The video game industry made early attempts at VR in the 1990s, most notably with Sega's VR-1 and Virtuality (product), Virtuality for Arcade video game, arcades, along with unsuccessful attempts for home consoles with the Sega VR prototype and Nintendo's Virtual Boy. ''Bad Street Brawler'', originally released for home computers as ''Bop'n Rumble'' in North America and as ''Street Hassle'' in Europe, is a 1987 video game by Beam Software. However, its two games did not sell well, as it was not packaged with a game, and it was criticized for its imprecise and difficult-to-use controls.
