The National University of Rosario (, UNR) is a research public university located in the city of Rosario, province of Santa Fe, Argentina. Overview Rosario National University (UNR) was created in 1968 by Law 17.987. Its foundational structure consisted of numerous academic and administrative entities belonging to the Rosario campus of the National University of the Littoral, established in 1918. The schools incorporated in the original university at the time included: the Colleges of Medicine, Biochemistry Sciences, Engineering, Architecture, Economic Sciences, Humanities and Arts, Law, Psychology, Political Sciences, Odontology, Agricultural Sciences, Veterinarian Sciences. Other institutions under the original university's aegis included hospitals and secondary schools, the Rosario Music Institute, the Fine Arts Institute, and the Center of Foreign and Modern Languages. The Instituto Politécnico Superior General San Martín is a technical high school in Rosario, Argentina. It was founded in 1906 as the "Escuela Industrial de la Nación" by its first director Luis Laporte. It depends on the National University of Rosario (UNR). Federico Rodriguez Hertz
Federico Rodríguez Hertz (born December 14, 1973) is an Argentine mathematician working in the United States. He is the Anatole Katok Chair professor of mathematics at Penn State University. Rodriguez Hertz studies dynamical systems and ergodic theory, which can be used to described chaos's behaviors over the large time scale and also has many applications in statistical mechanics, number theory, and geometry. Early life and education He is the son of Mariana Frugoni and Adolfo Rodriguez Hertz. He has four siblings, including Jana, a mathematician, teacher and researcher. Jana Rodriguez Hertz
María Alejandra (Jana) Rodriguez Hertz Frugoni (born 1970) is an Argentine and Uruguayan mathematician, professor, and researcher. Biography Rodriguez Hertz was born on February 11, 1970, in Rosario, Argentina. She studied mathematics at the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Ingeniería y Agrimensura of the National University of Rosario, Rosario, Argentina, earning a bachelor's degree there in 1994. She earned a doctorate from the University of the Republic in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1999. Formerly a professor at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of the Republic, she became the first and only woman with a Grade 5 in mathematics in Uruguay. Agustín Oscar Rossi (born 18 October 1959) is an Argentine Justicialist Party politician. Rossi has held a number of important political posts throughout his career, most notably as Minister of Defense during the presidencies of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (2013–2015) and Alberto Fernández (2019–2021). Rubén Héctor Giustiniani (born November 3, 1955, in Rosario) is an Argentine politician from the Socialist Party (PS), who was National Senator representing Santa Fe Province from 2003 to 2015. Rafael Antonio Bielsa Caldera (born February 15, 1953) is an Argentine Justicialist Party politician from Rosario, province of Santa Fe. He was the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2005.
