UEFA Euro 2012 Qualifying Play-offs
The UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying play-off ties were played over two legs, with the first legs on 11 November and the second legs on 15 November 2011. The four winners are found according to the standard rules for the knockout phase in European competitions, and the winners qualified for the Euro 2012 tournament. Qualifying play-offs was a second stage (round) of UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying. Ranking of second-placed teams The highest ranked second placed team from the groups qualified automatically for the tournament, while the remainder entered the playoffs. As five groups contain six teams and four with five, matches against the sixth-placed team in each group were discarded in this ranking. As a result, a total of eight matches played by each team count toward the purpose of the second-placed ranking table. Viktor Kassai (''Kassai Viktor'', Hungarian pronunciation: ; born 10 September 1975) is a Hungarian football official and a former referee who is the current head of refereeing department of the Bulgarian Football Union. He participated in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and refereed the 2011 UEFA Champions League Final. He has been a full international referee for FIFA since 2003. He retired as a referee on 30 December 2019. Jonathan Ronald Walters (born 20 September 1983) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. Walters started his career at Blackburn Rovers but failed to break into the first team and joined Bolton Wanderers. He then went out on loan to Hull City, Crewe Alexandra and Barnsley before joining Hull permanently. He then went on to play for Wrexham and Chester City before finally finding regular football at Championship side Ipswich Town. Keith Joseph Andrews (born 13 September 1980) is an Irish former association footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Pedro Proença Oliveira Alves Garcia (; born 3 November 1970) is a retired Portuguese football referee.
