UEFA Euro 1980 Qualifying
The qualifying round for UEFA Euro 1980 consisted of 31 teams divided into seven groups; three of five teams and four of four teams. The qualifying round (drawn in Rome on 30 November 1977) was played at various times between May 1978 and February 1980, with some groups concluding earlier than others. Vojtech Christov
Vojtech Christov (born 16 March 1945 in Vranov nad Topľou) is a former Czechoslovak football referee. He is known for having refereed in two FIFA World Cups, one match in 1982 (the opening game of the tournament between Belgium and Argentina) and one in 1986. He was assistant referee in the 1982 FIFA World Cup Final. He also refereed two matches in the 1984 UEFA European Football Championship in France, including the UEFA Euro 1984 Final and one match in the Olympic Football Tournament 1980 in Moscow. Alberto Michelotti
Alberto Michelotti (15 July 1930 – 18 January 2022) was an Italian football player and referee. Career Michelotti began his career in football as a goalkeeper, before becoming a referee in Serie A in 1967. In 1973, Michelotti was appointed a FIFA referee. At club level, Michelotti officiated the 1975 Coppa Italia Final between Fiorentina and Milan in Rome on 28 June; the former side won the match 3–2. He was also in charge of refereeing the second leg of the 1979 UEFA Cup Final between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Red Star Belgrade, on 23 May, which ended in a 1–0 home victory to the former club, which in turn saw the German side claim the title 2–1 on aggregate. The following season, he also officiated the 1980 Coppa Italia Final between Roma and Torino in Rome on 17 May, which ended in 3–2 penalty shoot-out victory to the former team following a 0–0 draw after extra-time. Klaus Fischer
Klaus Fischer (born 27 December 1949) is a German former professional footballer and coach. He was a key player on the West Germany national team that lost the 1982 World Cup final to Italy. As a forward, he was noted for his bicycle kicks, and scored a spectacular overhead kick equalizer in extra-time of a 1982 World Cup semi-final against France. Club career Fischer was born in Kreuzstraßl, near Lindberg ( Bayerischer Wald) in the district of Regen. He moved from SC Zwiesel to TSV 1860 Munich in 1968 and made 535 Bundesliga appearances for 1860 Munich, FC Schalke 04, 1. FC Köln and VfL Bochum. With Schalke 04 he won the German Cup in 1972. Schalke 04 were one of the clubs involved in a bribery scandal in season 1970–71 of the Bundesliga. Herbert Zimmermann (footballer)
Herbert Zimmermann (born 1 July 1954) is a former German football player. Club career A successful striker, Zimmermann was signed by FC Bayern Munich and also appeared as central defender for 1. FC Köln, the club he joined after he did not get enough games at Bayern. Injury worries of his new club made him appear as defender and doing well on that adopted position prevented him from giving up his new role. After being just part of the squad of FC Bayern Munich that won the Bundesliga in 1973 and 1974, and the European Cup in 1974, Zimmermann was a vital figure for Köln in Köln's DFB-Pokal wins in 1977 and 1983. Myroslav Ivanovych Stupar ( uk, Мирослав Іванович Ступар; russian: Мирослав Иванович Ступар; born August 27, 1941) is a Ukrainian retired footballer and football referee. Career As a player, he was a goalkeeper and played for Spartak Stanislav / Ivano-Frankivsk, FC Volyn Lutsk, Dinamo Khmelnytskyi, also for the FC Dynamo Kyiv reserves. Izmir Alsancak Stadium
The Alsancak Mustafa Denizli Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in İzmir, Turkey used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 15,000 and was built in 1929. In 1959 it hosted Turkey's first-ever premiere league game. The stadium is owned by Ministry of Youth and Sports (Turkey).
