Tony Collins (American Football)
Anthony Collins (born May 27, 1959) is a former American football running back. He played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) and the Arena Football League. He played in Super Bowl XX as a member of the New England Patriots. He played college football at East Carolina University. Early years A speedy and powerful runner, Collins first garnered notoriety in high school as a starter on the 1976 New York State Class B Champion Penn Yan Academy Mustangs. He grew up with 15 siblings as one of 16 children. NFL Collins attended East Carolina University and was selected in the second round of the 1981 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. John Stephens (American Football)
John Milton Stephens (February 23, 1966 – September 1, 2009) was an American professional American football, football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the New England Patriots in the first round (17th overall) of the 1988 NFL Draft. At 6 feet 1 inch and 215 pounds, he was a running back from Northwestern State University in Louisiana. Stephens played in six NFL seasons from 1988 to 1993 for the Patriots, the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs. As a rookie for the Patriots during the 1988 NFL season, Stephens rushed for 1,168 yards and was selected to his only Pro Bowl. Jesse Craig James (born January 2, 1961) is an American former professional football player and sports commentator. He was a running back for the New England Patriots of the National Football League and for the Washington Federals of the United States Football League. He then became a commentator for the ABC and ESPN television networks. James ran for a seat in the U.S. Senate in Texas in 2012, but was defeated in the first round of the Republican primary. Vasquero Diaz "Vagas" Ferguson (born March 6, 1957) is a former American college and professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for five seasons during the 1980s. Ferguson played college football for the University of Notre Dame, and was recognized as an All-American. He was selected in the first round of the 1980 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, and Houston Oilers of the NFL. Reginald Etoy Branch (born October 22, 1962) is a former American football running back in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins. He played college football at West Virginia State University and East Carolina University. Early years Reggie attended Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. He was Coached by Jesse "celltech", and Emory Blake, former NFL player and NFL quarterback Jeff Blake's father. A touchdown (abbreviated as TD) is a scoring play in gridiron football. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone. Reception (American Football)
In gridiron football, a reception, also known informally as a catch, is part of a passing play in which a player in bounds successfully catches (receives) a forward pass thrown from a friendly quarterback behind the line of scrimmage.
