Tim Moore (Kentucky Politician)
Tim Moore (born July 25, 1966, in Paducah, Kentucky) is an American politician and a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives from 2007 to 2019. He resigned in September 2019 and was succeeded by Samara Heavrin. Education Moore earned his BS in engineering mechanics from the United States Air Force Academy and his MS in operations management from the University of Arkansas. Kentucky House Of Representatives
The Kentucky House of Representatives is the lower house of the Kentucky General Assembly. It is composed of 100 Representatives elected from single-member districts throughout the Commonwealth. Not more than two counties can be joined to form a House district, except when necessary to preserve the principle of equal representation. Representatives are elected to two-year terms with no term limits. The Kentucky House of Representatives convenes at the State Capitol in Frankfort. The secretary of state of Kentucky is one of the constitutional officers of the U.S. state of Kentucky. It is now an elected office, but was an appointed office prior to 1891. The current secretary of state is Republican Michael Adams, who was elected on November 5, 2019; he took office on January 6, 2020. The Kentucky General Assembly, also called the Kentucky Legislature, is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Kentucky. It comprises the Kentucky Senate and the Kentucky House of Representatives.
