''This Is the Life'' is the debut studio album by Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald, released on 30 July 2007. It reached number one on the UK Albums Chart on 13 January 2008 and sold over 900,000 copies in the UK as of February 2017, awarding the album a certification of 3× Platinum. Singles and other tracks The first single from the album was " Poison Prince", a limited online release, while the debut first full single was the successful " Mr Rock & Roll", which debuted at number 12. Joseph O'Neill is an Irish novelist and non-fiction writer. O'Neill's novel '' Netherland'' was awarded the 2009 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction and the Kerry Group Irish Fiction Award. Early life Joseph O'Neill was born in Cork, Ireland, on 23 February 1964. He is of half-Irish and half-Turkish ancestry. O'Neill's parents moved around much in O'Neill's youth: O'Neill spent time in Mozambique as a toddler and in Turkey until the age of four, and he also lived in Iran. From the age of six, O'Neill lived in the Netherlands, where he attended the Lycée français de La Haye and the British School in the Netherlands. He read law at Girton College, Cambridge, preferring it over English because "literature was too precious" and he wanted it to remain a hobby. ''This Is the Life'' is an American Christian television dramatic series. This anthology series aired in television syndication, syndication from 1952 to 1988. The series was originally produced by the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, and distributed by the Lutheran Laymen's League, International Lutheran Laymen's League. Adele Farrington (1867 – 19 December 1936) was an American actress of the silent film era. Biography Born Anna King in Brooklyn, New York, Farrington was a stage actress before appearing in 74 films between 1914 and 1926. She was a relatively old actress for the silent film era, being 47 at the beginning of her film career. She appeared in many films directed by Lois Weber and Phillips Smalley. Lloyd Chauncey Ingraham (November 30, 1874 – April 4, 1956) was an American film actor and director. Biography Born in Rochelle, Illinois, Ingraham appeared in more than 280 films between 1912 and 1950, as well as directing more than 100 films between 1913 and 1930. Films for which he is known include ''Scaramouche'' (1923), ''The Padrone's Ward'' (1914) and ''Rainbow Valley'' (1935).
