''The Temptation of St. Tony'' ( et, Püha Tõnu kiusamine) is a 2009 Estonian film written and directed by Veiko Õunpuu, starring Taavi Eelmaa. The plot has been described as a black comedy and centers around a successful, middle aged man who becomes interested in questions about morality. Veiko Õunpuu
Veiko Õunpuu (born 16 March 1972, in Saaremaa) is an Estonian film director and screenwriter who is best known for his artistic movies '' Autumn Ball'' (''Sügisball'', 2007) and ''The Temptation of St. Tony'' (''Püha Tõnu kiusamine'', 2009). Õunpuu's films are usually slow paced artistic movies with eccentric characters. Film work In 2006 he wrote and directed the independent short film ''Empty'' (''Tühirand''). Andres Puustusmaa (born 19 July 1971) is an Estonian film director, actor, screenwriter, professor, and photographer who began his career in the early 1990s. He has worked extensively in his native Estonia, as well as in Russia. Early life and education Andres Puususmaa was born in Tallinn to Tõnu and Eva Puustusmaa (''née'' Mildeberg). After secondary school he enrolled in the Drama Department of Tallinn Conservatory (now, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre) under the instruction of theatre pedagogue Ingo Normet, graduating in 1994. This is a list of submissions to the 83rd Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited the film industries of various countries to submit their best film for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film every year since the award was created in 1956.
