The Longest Night (Only Fools And Horses)
"The Longest Night" is an episode of the BBC sitcom ''Only Fools and Horses''. It was the third episode of series 5, and was first screened on 14 September 1986. In the episode the Trotters are accused of shoplifting at a local supermarket and taken up to the manager's office. Whilst there they are held hostage by an armed robber who shares a connection with Del. Synopsis During their weekly shopping trip at their local supermarket, Del Boy, Rodney, and Albert are summoned by head security officer Tom Clark to the manager Mr. Peterson's office. They initially assume they have won an advertised £1,000 cash prize for being the store's millionth customers, but instead are accused of shoplifting. At the same time, a young man enters the supermarket and shoplifts several items. Clark catches him in the act and takes him up to the manager's office. Only Fools And Horses
''Only Fools and Horses....'' is a British television sitcom created and written by John Sullivan (writer), John Sullivan. Seven series were originally broadcast on BBC One in the United Kingdom from 1981 to 1991, with sixteen sporadic Christmas specials aired until the end of the show in 2003. Set in working-class Peckham in south-east London, it stars David Jason as ambitious market trader Del Boy, Derek "Del Boy" Trotter and Nicholas Lyndhurst as his younger brother Rodney Trotter, alongside a supporting cast. The series follows the Trotters' highs and lows in life, in particular their attempts to get rich. ''The Scarlet Pimpernel'' is the first novel in a series of historical fiction by Baroness Orczy, published in 1905. It was written after her stage play of the same title (co-authored with Montague Barstow) enjoyed a long run in London, having opened in Nottingham in 1903. The novel is set during the Reign of Terror following the start of the French Revolution. The title is the ''nom de guerre'' of its hero and protagonist, a chivalrous Englishman who rescues aristocrats before they are sent to the guillotine. Jeanne Mary Mockford (15 March 1926 – 16 November 2018) was an English actress, probably best known as Senna the soothsayer in the British television 1969–70 comedy series ''Up Pompeii!''. John Bardon (born John Michael Jones, 25 August 1939 – 12 September 2014) was an English stage and screen actor. Rodney Trotter
Rodney Charlton Trotter (also known as Dave by Trigger), is a fictional character in the long running BBC sitcom ''Only Fools and Horses'', played by Nicholas Lyndhurst. Biography Rodney is the son of Joan Mavis Trotter, grandson of Edward Trotter, and great nephew of Albert Trotter. His full name is Rodney Charlton Trotter.
