The International School of Macao ( pt, Escola Internacional de Macau; Chinese: 澳門國際學校), is an international school in Taipa, Macao next to the Macau International Airport. It occupies blocks K and Q of the Macau University of Science and Technology. It is accredited by Alberta, Canada. History TIS was established in 2002 to provide a Canadian curriculum and accreditation to local and expatriate students. English is the primary language of instruction. TIS opened with an initial total enrolment of 58 students on the campus of Macau University of Science and Technology. By 2006, the school had grown to over 500 students and moved into the first phase of its new, purpose-built facility on the MUST campus. Sport In Macau
Macau residents participate in a wide variety of sports for recreation and competition. Football, basketball, volleyball, Dragon Boat, jogging, swimming, table tennis, and badminton are among the most popular in the community. The Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T., ; pt, Universidade de Ciência e Tecnologia de Macau) is a private university founded in 2000 at Taipa, Macau, China. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a two-year educational programme primarily aimed at 16-to-19-year-olds in 140 countries around the world.
