The Fifth Season (Oh My Girl Album)
''The Fifth Season'' (stylized in all caps) is the debut Korean studio album (second overall) by South Korean girl group Oh My Girl. It was released on May 8, 2019, by WM Entertainment and distributed by Kakao M. The album contains 10 songs, including the title track "The Fifth Season (SSFWL)" and its instrumental. A reissue titled ''Fall in Love'' was released on August 5, 2019, with the lead single "Bungee (Fall in Love)" and its music video released the same date. Release and promotion On April 11, 2019, Oh My Girl's agency WM Entertainment revealed that the group has been preparing for a comeback planned for early May. During the ''Everyday Miracle'' fanmeet held on April 20, it was announced that the upcoming release would be their debut full length album releasing on May 8. Oh My Girl
Oh My Girl (, also stylized as OH MY GIRL and OMG) is a South Korean girl group formed by WM Entertainment. The group is composed of six members: Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Yubin and Arin. Originally an eight-piece group, JinE left the group in October 2017 due to health issues, and Jiho left in May 2022. Oh My Girl debuted on April 20, 2015, with an eponymous extended play. The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010. History Gaon Chart was launched in February 2010 by the Korea Music Content Association, under the sponsorship of the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the aim to create a domestic national chart similar to the ''Billboard'' charts of the United States and the Oricon charts of Japan. Mayu Wakisaka
is a singer-songwriter, composer, and lyricist based in Tokyo, Japan. Mayu grew up in Osaka, Japan, and studied law at Kyoto University. In 2007, she quit law school to pursue her career as a singer-songwriter and moved to Los Angeles. While studying music at LA Music Academy, Mayu self-produced her first EP "Stars Won't Fall", from which "24 Hours" got featured in Sony Walkman as a preload song, attracting an international fanbase. Hyuk Shin (Hangul: 신혁; born June 5, 1985) is a South Korean record producer and singer-songwriter. His team, A-Rex, created the song " One Less Lonely Girl" for Justin Bieber in 2009. He has worked with many major artists in K-pop, including GFriend, Exo, Shinee, DEAN, Oh My Girl, Girls' Generation, Monsta X, NCT, Got7 and SF9, among others. Willie Weeks (born 5 August 1986) is a British musician, songwriter, and record producer.
