The Cabinet (professional Wrestling)
The Cabinet was a professional wrestling stable that was part of World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) SmackDown! brand. It was created by John "Bradshaw" Layfield (JBL) shortly after he won the WWE Championship at The Great American Bash in 2004. The future of the Cabinet seemed to be in doubt in mid-2005 after the firing of Amy Weber and the resignation of the Basham Brothers (who were then split in the WWE draft lottery). The stable had dwindled down to just JBL and Orlando Jordan. With both men seemingly concentrating on their own singles careers, it seemed like the end of the Cabinet, but on the September 16, 2005 edition of ''SmackDown!'', after JBL lost to Rey Mysterio, he hired spin doctor Jillian Hall in order to fix his career. John Charles Layfield (born November 29, 1966), better known by the ring name John "Bradshaw" Layfield (abbreviated to JBL), is an American retired Professional wrestling, professional wrestler and Gridiron football, football player. Theodore Long
Theodore Robert Rufus Long (born September 15, 1947) is an American former professional referee and manager known for his work for WWE and WCW serving as an on-screen authority figure. Long began his career in the National Wrestling Alliance and made his WWE (then the World Wrestling Federation) debut in 1998 as a referee. He transitioned to be an on-screen manager in 2003 and later served as general manager of SmackDown for two tenures lasting a combined six years as well as one stint as ECW general manager. Robert Alexander Szatkowski (born December 18, 1970) is an American professional wrestler and actor better known by his ring name Rob Van Dam (frequently abbreviated to RVD). The WWE United States Championship is a professional wrestling championship promoted by the American promotion WWE, currently defended on the Raw brand division. It is one of two secondary championships for WWE's main roster, along with the WWE Intercontinental Championship on SmackDown. The current champion is Austin Theory, who is in his second reign. Eduardo Gory Guerrero Llanes (October 9, 1967 – November 13, 2005) was an American professional wrestler. He was a prominent member of the Guerrero wrestling family, being the son of first-generation wrestler Gory Guerrero. The Basham Brothers
The Basham Brothers were a professional wrestling tag team, composed of Doug Basham and Danny Basham. The team is best known for their work with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). History Ohio Valley Wrestling (2002–2003) The Basham Brothers initially began working as a team in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), where they were known as Doug Basham and Damaja respectively.
