Big Story (song)
''All Things New'' is the twelfth studio album by Steven Curtis Chapman. It was released on September 9, 2004, by Sparrow Records. In 2005, the album won the Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album; unusually for Chapman, however, the album did not win the corresponding Dove Award that year ( 2005), although it had been nominated. The "All Thing New" concert tour in support of this album included Casting Crowns and the worship leader Chris Tomlin. The Big Story (radio And TV Series)
''The Big Story'' is an American radio and television crime drama which dramatized the true stories of real-life newspaper reporters. The only continuing character was the narrator, Bob Sloane. Radio Sponsored by Pall Mall cigarettes, the program began on NBC Radio on April 2, 1947. With Lucky Strike cigarettes sponsoring the last two seasons, it was broadcast until March 23, 1955. The radio series was top rated, rivaling Bing Crosby's '' Philco Radio Time''. Produced by Barnard J. Prockter, the shows were scripted by Gail Ingram, Arnold Pearl and Max Ehrlich. Tom Vietor and Harry Ingram directed the series. Gail and Harry Ingram were husband and wife. The theme was taken from ''Ein Heldenleben'' ("A Hero's Life"), a tone poem by Richard Strauss. Prockter was inspired to create the program after hearing about a man who was freed from a life sentence in jail by the work of two newspaper reporters in Chicago. ''The Big Story'' is a 1994 British animated film by Tim Watts and David Stoten from Spitting Image Productions and starring Frank Gorshin (previously known as The Riddler on the 1960s TV version of '' Batman''.) Summary A witty spoof on the films Kirk Douglas from various ages, a young 1950s reporter is looking for his big chance pleading his editor for a breaking story. Production The film was animated twice-once hand-drawn and then again in stop-motion. Quentin Tarantino requested this short to play before screening ''Pulp Fiction''.
