Tyler Michael Moore (born January 30, 1987) is an American former professional baseball left fielder and first baseman. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Washington Nationals and Miami Marlins. Professional career Washington Nationals Moore was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 16th round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft out of the Mississippi State University. Moore was drafted two times previously, both by the Nationals. He was assigned to Low-A Vermont that season, where he had a .200 batting average in 71 games with the club. He struck out 66 times, compared to only 13 walks. He only hit 6 home runs, despite the high K/BB ratio. He still earned a promotion for the next season, 2009, playing with Single-A Hagerstown. He played in 111 games with a .297 batting average, his highest to date. He struck out an average of once a game, and had 87 RBI. Tyler Moore is an International Powerlifter for Team USA and is a competitor in the Men's Open Division. When Tyler was a teen, he was elected as Team USA's Jr Bench Press Team captain and won his first international title at the NAPF Bench Press Championships in 2011. Tyler is a member of the USAPL and competes in both, the equipped and RAW styles of Powerlifting. He is a two-time North American Bench Press Champion and holds 20 American Records. Moore became eligible for Pro competitions in the Fall of 2013 after winning his second international title. Junior career Moore began his powerlifting career in July 2009 at the Wisconsin Dells State Championships. Tyler placed 2nd in the meet. Tyler Jacob Moore is an American actor. Tyler was born and raised in Catlin, Illinois, to Cynthia Donnell and James Moore. He studied musical theater and acting at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Howard Fine Acting Studio in Los Angeles. Before his days as a professional actor, he served in an Army reconnaissance platoon. The Farr 30 (formerly Mumm 30) was designed by Farr Yacht Design led by Bruce Farr. The first boat was built by Carrol Marine and first launched in 1995. The class was recognised by the World Sailing from 1997 to 2018. History The International Farr 30 One Design Class Association was formed as the owners association to support the class and promote One Design class sailboat racing amongst owners which led to the class becoming an ISAF Recognised Class. This entitles the class to hold World Championships officially recognized by World Sailing. The boat was originally named the Mumm 30 after its original title sponsor Champagne Mumm. After his sponsorship ended in 2007, the class then rebranded to Farr 30, using a modified version of the Farr 40 class logo.
