The Skøyen Line ( no, Skøyenlinjen/''Skøyenlinja'') is a tramway line running from Slottsparken to Skøyen in Oslo, Norway. It is served by line 13 of the Oslo Tramway. It connects the Briskeby Line at Slottsparken to the Lilleaker Line at Skøyen. The line was built on 2 March 1894 from Slottsparken to Skarpsno, and extended to Skøyen in 1903, by Kristiania Elektriske Sporvei. At first a shuttle service was provided on the branch line, but by April a through service was offered to Østbanen. Skøyen is a neighborhood of Oslo, Norway. It is located in the western part of the city, in the borough of Ullern. The district has an increasing share of business activities, a development started in the 80s. Skøyen is the site of Skøyenparken which surrounds Skøyen Manor (''Søndre Skøyen''). Frogner Line
The Frogner Line ( no, Frognerlinjen) is a section of the Oslo Tramway which runs between Solli and Majorstuen, serving the neighborhood of Frogner. The line is served by tram number 12, and the Frogner section makes up the westernmost part of this line. From Solli to Frogner, the line runs northwestwards to Frognerveien, then turns northeast along Kirkeveien, along the Frogner Park, including a stop at the main gate to the Vigeland sculpture installation, before ending at Majorstuen where it connects with the Homansbyen Line and Briskeby Line. Alnabru–Grefsen Line
The Alna Line ( no, Alnabanen) is a railway line between Alnabru and Grefsen in Oslo, Norway. The single track line allows direct access between the Trunk Line and the Gjøvik Line, without having to pass via Oslo Central Station. The line is electrified and is owned by the Norwegian National Rail Administration. It is exclusively used by freight trains, and allows trains on the Bergen Line to reach Alnabru Freight Terminal. Kristiania Kommunale Sporveie
Kristiania Kommunale Sporveie or KKS, colloquially known as the Red Tramway ( no, Rødtrikken) was a municipal owned company that operated parts of the Oslo Tramway from 1899 to 1905. KKS built and operated three lines, Sagene Ring, the Rodeløkka Line and the Vippetangen Line. The three were connected by means of lines of Kristiania Sporveisselskab (KSS) and Kristiania Elektriske Sporvei (KES). KKS bought twenty motorized trams from Schuckert & Co. and twelve trailers, designated as Class S. It built two depots, Sagene and Rodeløkka. The company was created after a political shift whereby the municipal council decided to start operating trams.
