''The Motor City Collection'' is a box set by Australian pop vocal group Human Nature, which was issued on 19 April 2008 and peaked at No. 18 on the ARIA Albums Chart. It comprises three CDs of cover versions by the band of Motown artists' material and a live DVD. The box set was released to coincide with a performance by Human Nature with Mary Wilson of the Supremes on the TV show '' It Takes Two'' on 22 April 2008. Human Nature (band)
Human Nature are an Australian pop vocal group, which formed in 1989, as a quartet featuring Toby Allen, Phil Burton and brothers, Andrew and Mike Tierney. Originally they were established as a doo-wop group, called the 4 Trax, when the members were schoolmates. After signing with Sony Music as ''Human Nature'', they released their debut album, '' Telling Everybody'', in 1996. "It's the Same Old Song" was recorded by the Four Tops for the Motown label. It was released in 1965 as the second single from their second album. Written and produced by Motown's main production team Holland–Dozier–Holland, the song is today one of The Tops' signatures, and was reportedly created—from initial concept to commercial release—in 24 hours.
