The Late Show With Ewen Cameron
''The Late Show with Ewen Cameron'', (also known as ''The Late Show'') is a late-night talk show television programme that originally was broadcast in Scotland on the STV2 network channel presented by comedian and television personality Ewen Cameron. The show began broadcasting in January 2016, originally on the STV Glasgow and STV Edinburgh networks, until both channels were axed in 2017 and merged to form the new STV2 channel, where the programme aired at 10:30 pm. On 16 May 2018, it was announced that STV2 would close and all of its original programming including ''The Late Show with Ewen Cameron'' would be axed in June 2018. The final episode aired on 28 June 2018 ahead of the STV2 closure on 30 June 2018. Ewen Cameron (television Presenter)
Ewen Cameron (born 23 May 1972) is a Scottish radio DJ and television presenter. He presents on Bauer Media's Greatest Hits Radio Glasgow & the West, as well as hosting ''The Big Scottish Football Podcast'' and ''The Big Scottish Football Show'' alongside Steven Mill. He hosted the late-night television programme ''The Late Show with Ewen Cameron'' on STV2 from 2016 to 2018. He was also host of STV2 lifestyle show '' Live at Five'', from 2016 until 2018, as well as hosting a variety of STV television specials, including, ''The Festival Show'' and ''Scotland's Big Sleep Out''. Pacific Quay
Pacific Quay is an area south of the River Clyde in Glasgow, Scotland. It is located at the former Plantation Quay and Princes' Dock Basin. The Princes' Dock Basin was the largest on the River Clyde when it was opened by the Clyde Navigation Trust in 1900. It ceased to be used as a commercial dock by the Clyde Port Authority in the 1970s as the volume of shipping using the Upper Clyde declined with the onset of containerization. The site was later used for the Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988. The former electric generating station and pumping house, "Four Winds" which was used to pump water between the rotundas and generate power for the electric cranes still stands and is now home to a consultant engineers and radio station. STV (TV Channel)
STV is a free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by the STV Group. It is made up of the Central Scotland and Northern Scotland ITV public broadcaster licences, formerly known as Scottish Television (now legally STV Central Ltd) and Grampian Television (now legally STV North Ltd) respectively. The STV brand refers to the on-air name used by Scottish Television for much of its history - notably in the 1970s and early 1980s. STV2 was a British local television network in Scotland, operating five city-based TV licences serving Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Ayr. It was owned and operated by STV Group plc. Initially broadcast as two separate stations – STV Glasgow and STV Edinburgh – the launch of three local licences in Aberdeen, Dundee and Ayr led to the launch of a single networked service on 24 April 2017. ''Live at Five'' (also known as ''Live at 7.30'') was a Scottish topical entertainment and magazine programme which originally aired on STV2 in Scotland, excluding weekends which looked at the latest on the current trends happening in Scotland from music, art and culture among others. The show was presented by David Farrell and Jennifer Reoch with other presenters such as Hayley Matthews, Liam Dolan, Rachel McTavish, Ewen Cameron, Susie Cormack Bruce or Zara Janjua being present whenever Farrell and/or Reoch were unable to present the programme.
