''The Great Christmas Light Fight'' (originally titled ''Lights, Camera, Christmas!'' in development) is an American reality television competition show that premiered on December 9, 2013 on ABC. The seasonal miniseries is traditionally scheduled in a double-run of two hour-long episodes, all airing Mondays in the first three weeks of December annually as part of ABC's seasonal programming lineup (now branded since 2017 as '' 25 Days of Christmas''). On November 2, 2023, the series was renewed for a twelfth season, which premiered on December 5, 2024, with a thirteenth season already confirmed. TV by the Numbers was a website devoted to collecting and analyzing television ratings data in the United States that operated from 2007 to 2020. It was a part of Nexstar Media Group's Zap2it television news/listings site. History An Internet and statistical analyst, Robert Seidman had previously worked for IBM and Charles Schwab, and published an online newsletter about the Internet and AOL before founding TV by the Numbers; Bill Gorman had been an AOL executive until 1998, and had read Seidman's column. Mitch Metcalf (born ) is an American television analyst and former scheduling executive for NBC. He studied politics and economics at Princeton University. He worked for Frank N. Magid Associates and Research Communications before joining ABC in 1990. The network promoted him to director of West Coast research in January 1995, and later senior vice president of research. Carter Nicholas Oosterhouse (born September 19, 1976) is an American television personality and former model, who was born in Traverse City, Michigan.
