The Dengineers
''The Dengineers'' is a British children's television series which airs on CBBC and sees the production team (styled as 'dengineers') design themed dens or play houses for children. There have been seven series aired to date, with the most recent hosted by Meryl Fernandes and Joe Swash and previous hosts being Lauren Layfield, Mark Wright and Joe Tracini. The designers are currently Tony Broomhead, Satwinder Samra, Maral Tulip, Emma Kosh, Anthony Devine, Lynsey Ford, Martin Bell, Sahiba Chadha and formerly Dee Saigal, Sege Rosella and Olga Skumial. The series is similar to ''DIY SOS'' and ''Grand Designs'', with the help of expert designers and builders and the youngsters themselves, the Dengineers team will then construct an extraordinary den, either completely from scratch or by transforming an existing room in the home. Rhys Stephenson
Rhys Stephenson (born 29 October 1993) is an English television presenter and actor. Early life Stephenson was born in Lewisham, London. He began starring in school theatre productions at the age of ten. He attended Oasis Academy Pinewood and later Bower Park Academy and the University of Westminster. Career In 2013, Stephenson joined the National Youth Theatre. He has acted in a number of shows with the Sydenham Arts Festival and has appeared in productions including ''Alice in Wonderland'' and ''At the Feet of Jesus''. Ben Shires is a British television presenter and comedian, currently working on TV channels CBBC and Dave. He hosts the Guinness World Records-themed children's show '' Officially Amazing'', and is also a radio presenter on Heart Yorkshire. Career Shires initially aspired to be a lawyer.
