The Best Day (Day6 Album)
''The Best Day'' is the first compilation album by South Korean band Day6, released on June 6, 2018 through Warner Music Japan. It features all the title tracks released by the band from their debut extended play '' The Day'' to their second studio album ''Moonrise Moonrise and moonset are times when the upper limb of the Moon appears above the horizon and disappears below it, respectively. The exact times depend on the lunar phase and declination, as well as the observer's location. The group debuted on September 7, 2015, with the EP '' The Day,'' which peaked at No.2 on '' Billboard''s World Album Chart a week following its release. The band consists of four members: Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon. Originally a six-member band, Junhyeok departed on February 27, 2016, and Jae departed on December 31, 2021. All of the Day6 members are heavily involved in writing, composing, and producing the band's music. In 2017, the band released two songs every month of the year for their ''Every Day6'' project. By the end of the project, 25 songs were added to their discography. With genres ranging from hard rock and upbeat sing-a-longs to mellow ballads. Their first full-length album, '' Sunrise,'' consisted of songs released in the first half of the ''Every Day6'' project. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Park Jae-hyung (; born September 15, 1992), known professionally as eaJ (), is an Argentine-born South Korean singer, songwriter, and former member of the South Korean rock band Day6. He gained early recognition by competing in the first season of ''K-pop Star'' in 2012, where he finished in sixth place before signing with JYP Entertainment.
