Tel Te'omim
Tel Te'omim () is a community settlement in the Beit She'an valley in northern Israel. Located about 6 km south of Beit She'an, just east of Highway 90, it falls under the jurisdiction of Valley of Springs Regional Council. In it had a population of . History The village was founded in 1982 as an expansion of the three other moshavim in its vicinity: Revaya, Rehov, and Sde Trumot. Together these four settlements are combined in the "Bikurah" bloc. The population of Tel Te'omim is mostly composed of people who originally lived in the original three moshavim. The name "Tel Te'omim", which means "twin hills" or the "hill of twins", is associated with a pair of nearby hills of archaeological interest. Community Settlement (Israel)
A community settlement (, ''Yishuv Kehilati'') is a type of town or village in Israel and in the West Bank. In an ordinary town, anyone may buy property, but in a community settlement, the village's residents are organized in a cooperative and have the power to approve or to veto a sale of a house or a business to any buyer. Residents of a community settlement may have a particular shared ideology, religious perspective or desired lifestyle, which they wish to perpetuate by accepting only like-minded individuals. The Beit She'an Valley ( or ) is a valley in Israel. The valley lies within the Beit She'an rift, part of the Afro-Syrian Rift (Jordan Rift Valley), which opens westwards to the Harod Valley. Beit She'an ( '), also known as Beisan ( '), or Beth-shean, is a town in the Northern District (Israel), Northern District of Israel. Revaya () is a moshav in the Beit She'an Valley in northern Israel. Located about six kilometres south of Beit She'an, near Sde Trumot and west of Israel Highway 90, it falls under the jurisdiction of Valley of Springs Regional Council. In it had a population of .
