Taşkın Aksoy
Taşkın Aksoy (born 13 June 1967) is a German football manager and former player. Playing career Aksoy began his career at Hertha BSC. Making his debut in 1986, he went on to make 36 appearances for the Olympic Stadium-based side. Having moved to Boluspor, he came back to his native Berlin to sign for Türkiyemspor. Aksoy played for Tennis Borussia Berlin between 1993 and 1997, scoring 11 goals in 115 games. After a disagreement with coach Hermann Gerland, Aksoy decided to leave Tennis Borussia and after receiving an offer from Süper Lig team Kocaelispor, moved to Turkey where he played 15 games for the İzmit outfit. Aksoy played a season at Kayserispor before being called up for military service. In an effort to defer it, Aksoy moved back to Berlin again and signed for TeBe. West Berlin
West Berlin ( or , ) was a political enclave which comprised the western part of Berlin from 1948 until 1990, during the Cold War. Although West Berlin lacked any sovereignty and was under military occupation until German reunification in 1990, the territory was claimed by the West Germany, Federal Republic of Germany (FRG or West Germany), despite being entirely surrounded by the East Germany, German Democratic Republic (GDR or East Germany). Olympic Stadium (Berlin)
The Olympiastadion (), also known in English as the Berlin Olympic Stadium or simply the Olympic Stadium, is a sports stadium at Olympiapark Berlin in Berlin, Germany. It was originally designed by Werner March for the 1936 Summer Olympics. During the Olympics, the record attendance was thought to be over 100,000. Since renovations in 2004, the Olympiastadion has a permanent capacity of 74,475 seats and is the largest stadium in Germany for international football matches. The Olympiastadion is a UEFA category four stadium. Besides its use as an athletics stadium, the arena has built a footballing tradition. Since 1963, it has been the home of the Hertha BSC. The NOFV- Oberliga is a division at step 5 of the German football league system. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, it became the successor of the DDR-Oberliga, and functions today as a 5th division in the former territory of East Germany and the city of Berlin. This league is named after the Nordostdeutscher Fußballverband (NOFV: North-East German Football Association), the regional association of the DFB in the former East German territories. The UEFA coaching licences are documents testifying credentials of manager (association football), managers/ coach (sport), coaches among members of UEFA. The governing body for association football, football in Europe mandates several licences, each valid for coaching at a certain level. In Turkey, compulsory military service applies to all male citizens from 21 to 41 years of age. It is 6 months for all males regardless of education degree. Different rules apply to Turks abroad. For Turks with multiple citizenship, the conscription lapses if they have already served in the army of another country. Conscripts can be deployed in all parts of the Turkish armed forces, except in combat operations or active conflicts.
