Susie Wolff
Suzanne Wolff ( Stoddart; born 6 December 1982) is a Scottish former professional racing driver and current managing director of F1 Academy. Wolff started in kart racing, karting, before graduating to Formula Renault and Formula Three, then moving to the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) to compete for Mercedes-Benz. In 2012, she was signed by Williams Grand Prix Engineering, Williams in Formula One to work as a development driver. At the 2014 British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit, Silverstone she became the first List of female Formula One drivers, woman to take part in a Formula One race weekend in 22 years, by participating in practice. On 4 November 2015, Wolff announced her retirement from motorsport, last competing at the Race of Champions held at the end of November. Oban ( ; meaning ''The Little Bay'') is a resort town within the Argyll and Bute council area of Scotland. Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England, near the Northamptonshire villages of Silverstone and Whittlebury. It is the home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted as the 1948 British Grand Prix. The 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone was the first race in the newly created World Championship of Drivers. The 2014 British Grand Prix (formally the 2014 Formula 1 Santander British Grand Prix) was a Formula One motor race held on 6 July 2014 at the Silverstone Circuit in Silverstone, United Kingdom before a crowd of 122,000 people.
