Stratford Bus Station
Stratford bus station is a bus station and taxi rank in Stratford, London, Stratford in London, England. The station is owned and maintained by Transport for London. An entrance to Stratford station is located adjacent to the bus station, while Westfield Stratford City and Stratford City bus station are located across the link bridge on the other side of the railway. Designed in-house by London Transport (brand), London Transport architect Soji Abass, the bus station opened on 16 November 1994, and comprises five bus stands. It replaced an older bus station on the site, which was situated on the ground floor of a multi-storey car park prior to demolition. , over 20 million passengers use the bus station every year. Stratford is a major multi-level railway station which rates as the 5th busiest station in Britain, serving the district of Stratford and the mixed-use development known as Stratford City, in the London Borough of Newham, east London. A multistorey car park ( British and Singapore English) or parking garage (American English), also called a multistory, parking building, parking structure, parkade (mainly Canadian), parking ramp, parking deck or indoor parking, is a building designed for car, motorcycle & bicycle parking and where there are a number of floors or levels on which parking takes place.
