Stephen Mitchell (British Politician)
Stephen Mitchell (10 March 1884 – 7 June 1951) was a Scottish Unionist politician who sought change through unity. Educated at Loretto School and Jesus College, Cambridge, he served as a Major with the Fife and Forfar Yeomanry, including service in World War I. He was a Director of Imperial Tobacco. Mitchell was Unionist Member of Parliament (MP) for Lanark from 1924 until 1929. Sir Stephen George Mitchell KC (born 19 September 1941), styled The Hon. Mr Justice Mitchell, is a former judge of the High Court of England and Wales assigned to the Queen's Bench Division. Biography Mitchell was born in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, the son of Sydney Mitchell and Joan Dick. He was educated at Bedford School and at Hertford College, Oxford. He was called to the Bar in 1964 and became a member of the Middle Temple. Steven Mitchell (born 10 February 1970 in Dorking, Surrey) is a British sailor. He competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and finished 6th in the double-handed Star class with Iain Percy Iain Bryden Percy (born 21 March 1976) is an English sailor and double Olympic champion for Great Britain. Olympics Percy competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where he won a gold medal in the Finn class.

Steve Mitchell is the City Councilman for Place 6 in Richardson, Texas. Mitchell has served as the representative for Place 6 since May 2005. In addition, Mitchell served as Mayor of Richardson from May 2007 to May 2009, when he replaced long-serving Mayor Gary Slagel, who in turn replaced Mitchell as Mayor in May 2009. Prior to 2012, mayors in Richardson were elected from the council, and the office was not a separate place.
