Space Gun (video Game)
is a 1990 first-person shooter arcade game released by Taito. The game is set aboard a crippled space station that has been overrun by hostile alien creatures. The objective is to rescue human crew members while destroying the alien creatures. The game lets the player shoot limbs off the creatures, resulting in blood splatters. In 1992 home ports were released for the Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, MS-DOS, ZX Spectrum, and Master System. It was one of the few games for the Atari ST and Amiga to support a light gun. Gameplay ''Space Gun'' is an arcade rail shooter in which the player views the on-screen action from a first person perspective. Players use a cabinet-mounted light gun to target and shoot enemy aliens that have invaded a research vessel and abducted its crew. Ljutic Space Gun
The Ljutic Space Gun is a 12 gauge single-shot shotgun intended for trap shooting. Originally designed in 1955, the firearm has since been discontinued. History With his father, Al Ljutic ran the Ljutic Gun Company (Now Ljutic Industries) in the vicinity of Fresno, California. In 1955, AA Reil, a friend and Remington field rep, invited Al to go trap shooting the day after. Al realized after that he didn't own a trap gun. Instead of buying one Al designed and built one by the end of the day. This became the template for the Ljutic Space Gun. Only about 200 of the shotgun variant were made, making the firearm run anywhere from $2,500 to $3,000 on the secondary market (2013). However the weapon was also offered in single-shot rifle variants, using a 24-inch barrel, which began being produced in 1981. TP-82 Cosmonaut Survival Pistol
The TP-82 (russian: ТП-82) was a triple-barrelled Soviet combination pistol carried by cosmonauts on space missions. It was intended as a survival aid to be used after landings and before recovery in the Siberian wilderness. Features The pistol could be used for hunting, to defend against predators and for visible and audible distress signals. The detachable buttstock was also a machete that came with a canvas sheath. The upper two shotgun barrels used special 12.5×70 mm ammunition (40 gauge), and the lower single rifled barrel used 5.45×39mm ammunition developed for the AK-74 assault rifle. The TP-82 had a large lever on the left side of the receiver that opens the action, and a small grip safety under the trigger guard that resembled a secondary trigger.
